Scott Savage joined Bay City ISD in 2022 and serves as the district's Chief Operations Officer. He manages building maintenance, custodial, grounds, and transportation.
Savage is a native of Bay City. He graduated from Bay City High School in 2005, and attended Texas A&M University in College Station where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Systems Management in 2009. He has been married to Amberly Savage for 10 years, and the couple have three daughters under the age of eight.
Before joining the district, Savage worked in transportation services for Texas A&M while in college. He has managed his family farm for the last 12 years, has been involved in many local, state, and national level boards, and has extensive leadership training.
At BCISD, Savage will take on a variety of roles. Primarily, he will focus on maintaining a physical environment on campuses that is functional, safe, clean, and attractive. He'll lead a staff of nearly five dozen employees across the district's operations departments.
